Holly started She is Dallas a few years ago as a way to combine her online friends with her in-real-life friends. Both groups believed the other to be imaginary.
She is a married, stay-at-home mom of three boys, who partially homeschools. She lives in a North Dallas Suburb. Holly has written a mom blog for years {June Cleaver Nirvana}. Her other projects include Quirky Momma, Business 2 Blogger and DFW Bloggers.
She has a passion for social media and will talk your ear off if you even bring up the subject. You have been warned.

Laura Thornquist
Laura Thornquist is from ALL over. Born in Kansas City, she spent several years in Billings, MT, Denver, CO, Kansas City, MO and now Dallas, Texas.
She runs the My DFW Mommy website and is thrilled to become a part of She is Dallas! She has two children, 14 and 6 and has been married for 19 years.
Laura was in the television news industry for over 20 years and decided to get out to have more normal hours and a near normal routine for her family. She has now discovered the world of blogging and all that it encompasses and LOVES her new gig.

Chris Huston
A native New Yorker, Chris moved to Texas to follow a career in television.
Here she met and married the man of her dreams and together they have two children, ages 4 & 2!
Chris spent over 20 years in the television as a Sports anchor, Sports reporter and producer; most recently was the Senior Producer at WFAA’s “Good Morning Texas”.
Chris is now pursuing her dream of being a writer and stay at home mom. She is also taking her “news junkie” skills and hot topic interests and bringing them to She is Dallas. Chris is also on the prowl for great deals, working on two Money Savings blogs, My DFW Mommy and My City Mommy.
